Earth Day: Harrison Ford in “Years of Living Dangerously” for Showtime, by Taylor Marsh

Everything depends on the NextGen becoming activists for Mother Earth.

If only religious conservatives cared about planet Earth as much as they do Easter celebrations.

Student Groups for Hillary Already Active – 2016 Will Not Resemble 2008, by Taylor Marsh

The first hint of what is now manifesting came through Hillary Rodham Clinton’s tenure at the State Department, which included a technological retooling of the agency that had never been done before. Contrast the dismantling of State through budgetary lowering and foreign policy geared only to intervention in the Bush-Cheney era to HRC’s tenure. The difference is between HRC’s smart power versus GOP full military reliance as the only option, diplomacy completely discounted.

At State, HRC empowered younger aides to bold action, which the book HRC revealed in depth. This included the intervention of her staff in the Twitter update during Iran’s Green revolution, which came even as President Obama and the administration had a policy of non-engagement. Mother Jones offers more reporting, following the terrific book HRC.

Bill Kristol & Republicans Think Sec. Hillary Clinton has No Accomplishments , by Taylor Marsh
The reason the photograph above is apt in this conversation is that it’s critical to remember where America’s image was around the world when Hillary Clinton took on the job as Obama’s chief diplomat. The Administration known for Abu Ghraib torture, black sites, and Guantanamo Bay, not to mention allowing Osama bin Laden to become ensconced inside Pakistan, had scuttled a century of American prestige, after promising that “honor and dignity” would be restored to the White House. That the Bush-Cheney administration didn’t pay for two wars, leaving a mess for the Obama administration domestically added to the job of the new Obama administration, which directly impacted the money they had to spend to restore America’s reputation.
No country can survive in peace, prosper financially, and build a society if women are not valued and made part of the solution. This has been proven conclusively and given prominence in American foreign policy during the brief four years of Hillary Clinton’s tenure at State.
No one ever talks about the technological jet engine Secretary Clinton installed inside the State Department, which the Bush administration never addressed in the first decade of the 21st century.
That’s just for starters… (read on)

Laura Ingraham on Fox News Channel Makes Damning Statement About Women on Equal Pay Day, by Taylor Marsh

On this Equal Pay Day, on “Fox and Friends” Laura Ingraham made an incredible statement. She said that women making 77% of what men make does not take into account “the number of months or years continuously worked.” That is an indirect reference to the time women take off to have children, then coming back into the work force, which puts them at a disadvantage to males doing their same job. Ingraham is openly suggesting that women who choose to be mothers and then work afterward don’t deserve to be paid equal, because they chose to leave their job to have a child.

Keystone XL Pipeline Delay Absolutely Political, by Taylor Marsh

THE NOTION that President Obama once again delaying the decision on the Keystone XL pipeline isn’t political doesn’t pass the smell test. Democratic activists and potential progressive voters in the midterm would be furious if President Obama okayed the Keystone XL.

On “Morning Joe,” Scarborough and Mark Halperin offered the conservative line on Keystone XL, which is jobs. They’ve evidently not looked at the fine print or the facts.
